I convinced two friends to purchase the game today (WIN!) but they were unable to roll on my server (Maguuma). WIll they in time be able to move over for free?

They haven’t announced when they’ll stop allowing free transfers, so probably. Even if they don’t they can still do everything with you anyway except WvW.

I cannot say the state it is in at the moment but upon release and some time after players were able to change home realm at any time. In time long as you are on maguuma they are also free to ‘guest’ to your realm. Also while not free per sae it is possible to change realms with the use of gems. Was the realm Maguuma full? or did they get moved to the overflow realms?
