Will the new Amd A10 5800k run this ok ?

Define OK? And I’m assuming the integrated graphics.

1920×1080, 60fps, highest settings. No.

30fps@1600x900 and medium settings, possible. You may want to experiment as some individual settings on high don’t impact performance as much as others. DDR3-1833 memory is very helpful if you are looking at a box stuck with DDR3-1333.

Have it not be a slide show during a dragon event or the maw event. Yea, right. Good luck with that with a top end rig with an Intel i7 desktop CPU and a $300+ video card much less an A10-5800K.

just build my a friend a rig with the A8 5600K , 8 Gb DDR3, and an AMD 6870 and GW2 runs at a nice 60 fps+ all on high. the A10 will have no issues at all. just pair it up with a nice GPU.

But if you are asking if the APU run the game with it’s built in video adapter, then no.

It can, you just have to be reasonable with your expectations, that’s all.

It’s a kitten site better than an Intel HD 4000 graphics.
