Windows 8 compatibility ?
I run GW2 on Windows 8 on my laptop. It seems to run fine.
No issue on my desktop.
Recruiting dungeon raiders.

It runs just fine for me and some guildies with W8.
No problems on windows 8 for me.
Haven’t had any issues with it myself.
I was kinda worried about it at first but MS seems to have done a much better job with Windows 8 than previous version upgrades (looking at you Vista)
I doubt it would work on a windows tablet, unless they’ve decided to abandon the idea of their ARM tablet.
Why do you want to use W8 again?
I concur with the above humans and can confirm GW2 runs fine on W8

I don’t believe he “wants” to use windows 8, as he stated, he is buying new PCs that happen to come with windows 8 and if he wants windows 7 he’d have to buy it on top of the new computers.
And everyone is ignoring the free and legal alternatives?

It’d be nice if you’d elaborate.. but I’m assuming you mean using linux? This isn’t really needed, many people have stated that it works fine for them with windows 8…
Windows 8 does play nicely with Guild Wars 2 (as in, it works fine).

Why are you going on a linux sperg when the guy just wants to know if the game will play on his new OS?
I recently picked up an ASUS VivoTab running Windows 8 and the keyboard dock. It should go without saying that the keyboard would be essential. I’ve been able to run GW2 up to the character selection screen, but it crashes as soon as I try to enter the game proper. I didn’t have high hopes for it to run, and if it did run I expected it to be laggy beyond the point of being playable. But then I didn’t get the tablet for gaming, so there’s no heartbreak here. Checking game requirements against tablet specs may give you something you could use, but I wouldn’t hold any high expectations with the 1G of Windows tablets.
A side note, GW loaded into the game fine, but was extremely laggy. I could only see using it if I was on a trip and jonesing for some sort of GW play.
