Guild Wars 2

Hi everyone, I’ve been playing Skyrim and made a witch hunter build. I wanted to do something like this in Guild Wars, but I’m not sure how to exactly go about it. Since the class is mainly about archery and magic. I thought about doing a ranger or elementalist, maybe even a warrior. Which profession would be the best when making a witch hunter, and also what build would be good for that profession? Thank you everyone

If you wanna be an archer, that would be Ranger, Warrior, or Thief. Thief can use short bows, Warriors longbows, and Ranger can use both types of bows.

Every class uses magic.

Or elementalist conjure weapons, especially frost bows.

Idk ranger can use staff and become a druid in HoT that would make them a very interesting profession to play but we are very far from HoT update and beside they can use short/longbow and a lot of melee fighting style traps etc… btw they can use magic atm ( spirits ) but more like support role.

Ele bow just temporary and you can use it when you playing other classes if you have an ele friend in party but i admit frost bow deal crazy amount of damg.

War and Thief can use bow but they are far from witch hunter base on your description.

So yeah Ranger is the one closest to your play style and will be a witch hunter in Heart of Thorn, guardian too because i heard some rumors that guard can use longbow in HoT but i’m not confirm it yet, i hope it’s true.

This isn’t the first time someone’s asked which GW2 prof best fits the Witchhunter. Unfortunately the answer is none of them.

It does appear that the Guardian specialization will get LB in HoT so that might be an option.
