Hi, i’ve completed every explorable region in the game but i’m still on 98 % world completion.

It says i have completed

301/301 quest
500/507 WP
701/717 POI
202/202 SK point
261/266 Vista

Am I missing something? I’ve been to every single map and double checked to see if I have completed it and it says I have.

It also says

Krytan Explorer 175/175
Orr Explorer 60/60
maguuma Explorer 163/165
Shiverpeak explroer 171/172
Ascalon Explorer 175/175

I’ve checked maguuma and shiverpeak many times and can’t seem to find a region I haven’t fully explored. Is there some hidden place in either of those that has a new sub map not obvious in the main map?

The WvW maps have POIs, Vistas and Skill challenges.

But OP has finished all the Skill Points …

What I did was go to each area one by one and see if I’ve finished everything using that checklist you have quoted (but the one for each i dividual map) – there definitely seems to be a few areas without skill points that you have missed, my guesses being caves.

Also you don’t need all the explorer achievements to get 100% map completion.

Many thanks for your response, I found that I had the remaining pois in citadel which wasn’t obvious until I went into the map. The missing explorer achievements probably involve regions I haven’t walked into.

The POI’s are probably in towns.

The other things are most likely a combination of some of the following

Maguuma:
golemagical institute (metrica)
Calx’s hideout (metrica)
Aurora’s remains (brisban)
Dreamdark enclave (caledon)

Shiverpeaks:
tail of the serpent (timberline)
lair of the coil (timberline)
sector zuhl (timberline)
griffinrook run (lornars)
Shamans rookery (wayfarer foothills)
ulukks hunger (dredgehaunt)

Those are some of the most commonly missed area’s in the zones you are missing things in.

Looks like you need to check your towns.
The Grove, Black Citadel, Hoebrak, Metrica, Lions Arch, and lets see the one in Queensdale.

I would have to agree with Naqaj, it seems like a WvW map completion. Even though you have all the skill points, you might not necessarily have all the poi’s and vista that are around in the WvW maps especially in eternal battleground. How about the PvP map areas? I don’t know if you need the waypoints there or not…

OP mentioned the POIs missing were in the Citadel. that one is a tough one and i have yet to finish. too many instances! lol.

@Waypc – didn’t you say you have all WvW maps completed though? both you and OP had similar numbers.. did you check all towns and home instances as well?

Figured it out. No idea how I missed this but Black Citadel City was the one I was missing.

Congrats all – just dont be hasty for the gold star in WvW, might be just me but I feel like Im always being focus fired!!
