Guild Wars 2

So I have hit a dilemma, I leveled my Sylvari Guardian up right at launch before I knew much about the game. I realized a couple months back that I don’t like the way they look in most end-game heavy armor. I much prefer the look of humans in that regard. Now I didn’t know about the pvp locker preview thing at the time but I wish I did.

My guardian is level 80 with numerous exotic armor sets (least of my worries), and near 100% map completion. Would it be a really stupid idea to create a new human guardian and transmute all the stuff over onto crafted gear? My guildies think it’s a waste of time, but I feel like if I am not happy with my character now, it will only get worse.

Anyone else find themselves in a situation like this or have any friendly advice? Thanks!

i would say finish your world completion if you really are close so you can get the 2 gifts of exploration. once its done then if youre not happy with your character make a new one. it really doesnt take long to level up again and getting exotics is pretty easy.

Have you tried cultural armors, TA armor, or armors that would cover your whole body (and face)? Other than a small number, most of the armors on Sylvari have similar, if not the same, proportion as armors on human.

Yeah I have tried all the armors. the only one I think looks decent is the TA armor and the Arah set that I am currently using. I just fell in love with the human cultural armor and it sucks not having access to that style of gear on the sylvari. The AC and CM gear looks absolutely atrocious on the sylvari unfortunately as well

I agree with Scarn. If you are close to 100% Map completion, complete it to grab your Gift of Exploration. Then you can reroll. It is easy to level to 80 in GW2, and gearing up decently with exotics is not difficult. Oh and if you do want to delete your old Guardian character after rerolling, remember to spend all the karma first
