WvW profession help.
Depends really what aspect you want. Staff eles are great in water for healin and the auto attack heals as well. It can keep a whole Zerg up with AC fire no problem. And the stuns and imobalize in earth and lightning make it really easy to catch the unlucky who are running from you or your Zerg. Necros are great for spreading conditions. Epidemic really can cut a Zerg rush down quickly and if your smart enough to find the commander curropt boon on him can almost garantee your guild or Zerg the win. Mesmerism are also a very huge asset. Golem rushes basically rely on Mesmer for them to be succesful due to their portals and time warp on gates. The feedback glamor skills is also nice with canon defense so that whatever enemie is arming a canon will take the hit due to reflected projectiles. And if you ever want you can buy a commander tag and run it with your guardian for its survivability. But you need full tank to survive in the middle of a Zerg fight.
My main problem with my guardian in PvP is… he is SOOOOO godkitten slow. I chose the largest race with zero speed utility (in the build I use that I don’t want to change). My necro is a small sylvari with 25% speed boost lol
So… erg. What are the current ranking in people’s opinions on how different classes are faring in WvWvW pvp?
Necro and mesmer are currently doing really really good! Elementalist however, were suffering. We were placed down to the class with the least basic health and armor. Basically you have to go full seeker to kill your enemie before they kill you. Right now the best way I can describe my feelings for my main elemental it’s is a hyena trying to fit off a pack of lions. BUT staff eles support abilities are still perfectly fine. And it’s very easy to maintain permanent swiftness as well with staff. So if you want to be semi helpful and do great damage go necro. If you want to be helpful and do damage go Mesmer. And if you want to be super helpfull and do pretty good damage but have a tough time surviving go elementalist.
