For roaming and all others, 1v1 confrontations what’s the “best” class in Gw2.

Please don’t reply with “Whatever suits your playstyle”
And reply with proper responses that can make me consider what I should build.

Also, I’m really wondering if there’s anything I can plan to use my LvL 80 Boost for, not sure if I wanna be using it for this… Don’t think so.

Also, if it’s not much of a problem, I would appreciate if someone explained to me the current roles which professions play in the current WvWvW Meta

If you just want 1vs anything, power thief played well with lots of cleansing and all the insta teleports in the world on 0s cd is the cheesiest class available. Found something dangerous? NP, be 10,000 distance away in 2 seconds like the coward all thieves are.

There are cheesier builds (confusion chrono, poison thief) but their effectivness drop considerably if the foes bring cleanses (or a necro).

As long as you run one of the following, you will be fine:
Power Thief/DD
Condi Thief/DD
Condi Mesmer/Chrono

Any condition based build, that uses Dire/Trailblazers or a combination of the two, as these builds are the most braindead, passive, “Plays themselves”, sort of builds.

Please don’t ask us to reply without considering your playstyle, because there is no such thing as “best class” for any content in the game without it. Some people can rock a trapper guardian, some can scissors their opponents with a shadowstepping thief, and others can paper over them all with a condi mesmer. And that’s without considering various types of elementalists, engineers, revs, and so on.

If you want the least-effort option, for a build that you can run shortly after using the L80 boost (without getting your elite specialization):

• Ele: Scepter + Focus — high risk, high damage, high mobility.
• Condi Mesmer — much feared by everyone who hasn’t played it, due to its high stealth, high sustain, high mobility. (Moves like a dragonfly; stings like a slow-acting venom-laden scorpion.)
• Condi Necro — decent option for 1v1, if you haven’t unlocked reaper.

Those aren’t necessarily ‘good’ choices for everyone, but they are reasonable options if you want to boost to 80 and just get out there.
