Many runes (etc.) say that some percentage of one stat is “converted to” another stat. For example, the second superior rune of exhuberance converts 3% of vitality to healing power.

Does it really mean it is converted? Because if so, then it’s actually removing more vitality that the first rune of it’s kind added (25 vs. > 30).

This would seem to be a major detriment, if it’s worded correctly.

Does anybody know for sure?

It’s just words. It’s added. Food says the “correct” thing: Gain Y equal to X% of Z.

>you have 1000 toughness
>25% of toughness is converted to vitality
>you have 1000 toughness and 250 vitality

I hope that makes it clear

Amaimon says it right. I know it says converted, but it’s actually a misnomer. It just adds a certain percentage of stat A as stat B. So your second one actually causes 3% of your vitality to be added to healing power — you still keep your current Vitality rating.

So if you have 300 Vitality (theoretically), your healing power goes up by 9 (3% of 300) but your Vitality is still 300.

for a more precise example:

Normal boosted
Superior Sigil Of Giving An Example: 3% of toughness is converted to power

3% of 1,100 = 11*3 = 33
Power: 1,822 > 1,855 (1,822+33)
Toughness: 1,100 > 1,100
