Year pet distribution
There have not been annual mini-pets, no. Your second birthday gets you the Birthday Blaster item that lets you feed people stat-boosting Birthday Cake on demand, while your third birthday gives you your choice from an extensive list of normally-gemstore exclusive dyes, some of which are hundreds of gold if bought on the Trading Post.
Where do you even get these birthday boosters and such?? I have to my knowledge never gotten anything and I have had my account since launch.

@Talrune: The birthdays are for individual characters, not the account. I’ve gotten gifts for each of my characters on their birthday every year since launch. Do you perhaps delete and then relevel characters?
It’s been in an email with a giftbox-looking attachment, and you open that and get an XP booster, etc. As Xiahou Mao said, the latest two birthdays I had featured a choice of dyes, which was pretty cool.

- 1: Booster, insta L20 scroll, Mini Queen Jennah
- 2: Booster, insta L20 scroll (not stack with Y1), spirit shards, birthday blaster
- 3: Booster, insta L30 scroll, teleport to friend x5, celebratory dye pack (choice of dye from the first half dozen or so limited edition dye packs or nearly any regular dye)
edit: forgot to say that I think the year 3 rewards are the best gift from either game by far, even though I happened to have unlocked all the dyes and can’t take advantage of the celebratory pack. Some people were able to save 100s of gold for an item they wanted.

You can type /age ingame to see your character’s age (in days), so you can calculate when you get your presents. If you haven’t received one even though you should, try to delete some ingame-mails.
Yes, what Thanatos said: if you don’t delete emails, you won’t see new ones and perhaps that’s where your presents are stuck.
