Q:
Yet Another Generic Race Thread
If you want to play PvP then some people say it’s better to use an asura because they’re smaller and therefore harder to see, but this won’t affect the AI in PvE. And at the other end of the scale if you play PvE and want to do jumping puzzles norn can be really annoying because there’s less room to see what you’re doing.
But in terms of stats they are literally 100% identical.
There are some racial skills, but you can’t use them in PvP and by level 80 hardly anyone uses them in PvE either because your profession skills are better. If you want to decide for yourself you can see them all here:

“Life’s a journey, not a destination.”
Asura feel more “easy mode” for jumping puzzles because you get better camera control in tight places. They have more amusing Personal Story at the start than norns or humans (subjective opinion on my part, of course, and I note I’ve only run one Asura through and helped a few friends with some PS steps). Any other differences lie in the aesthetics you don’t care about.
Female asura in T3 heavy minus helmet with ponytail. Nuff said.
