i know i know, there are probably a lot of other topics about it, but it’s late and i just dont wanna go through 20thousand pages to find something that may be out of date

how does burning duration work now? my Flame Burst (im elementalist and recently like burning so im all focused on that) says 12 and 1/4 seconds, however, it is only applying 9 seconds and 9 ticks of damage…?

i know how durations only do damage for every entire second, so the 1/4 wont happen, but still, that’s 3 ticks of damage im missing

Condition duration is capped at 100%, so with flame burst at 5s basic duration, the maximum should be 10s with 100% on burning duration, so 10 ticks.
Not sure why it’s 9 instead of 10 though.

oh, laaaaaaaame, ya it hits 10 times though, they usually dont live for that last hit on duration end

that kinda sucks though
