Dynamic Events (orange circles on your map) will give you most of your experience. Many of them are part of a chain too, so don’t just leave when one ends, because a new one might pop up! Explore all corners and harvest plants, mining nodes and trees too. It’s easy to overlook the gain from it. Have you done your personal story in between? You can gain a few levels from that too.

If you don’t want to stick around Queensdale any longer, you can always go to one of the other race’s starting zones. There’s a portal to Lion’s Arch in Divinity’s Reach. Once in Lion’s Arch, you can take the portals to any of the other main cities and into their starter areas.

Good luck =)

That happens. Usually, if you have the map at 100%, you should exceed the 15 lvls. Almost everything you do here gives you exp, which makes levelling very easy. A good tip is: buy the copper gathering tools (sickle/axe/pick) as soon as possible and gather everything. Gives exp and stuff to use. Crafting is a very easy way to level up. But since you enjoy questing (which I completely understand, so much fun), I would give you the advice of visiting other start areas.
Here is how: in the north of Queensdale (your starting area), you go to Divinitys Reach (human main city). In the upper parts there is a pretty garden (exploring will give you exp also) with a large purple gate (it’s on the map). When you step through the gate, you will reach LionsArch, the main Hub of the game. Around you in a circle are gates to all other main cities (of the other races). All cities lead to the starting area of the respective race. Just choose and have fun I found all starting areas to be exceptionally well made, probably to lure new players in. Find your favourite =)

In Guild Wars 2 the weight of leveling is heavily placed on exploration. That means the only thing you can do once you finished your whole area and didn’t reach the required level for the next area is: Exploring the cities and other starting areas.

Visit the charr, visit the asrua, visit the norn, visit Lion’s Arch and etc. or ask for help on where to go in case you can’t find it. I noticed that this is the best way to level up.

Let’s not forget you can finish an entire zone 100% completion and still have missed half of what the zone has to offer. There are always hidden dynamic events, event chains that you missed the first time through. There’s a lot you can do.

There was an event in Metrica I failed the first time. I never realized if you beakitten it lead to a hidden area behind a portal.

In other words, just because it says you’ve completed a zone doesn’t mean you’ve done everything.

Indeed, zone completion only counts for hearts, vista’s, POI, waypoints etc. it does not count for the area’s you found or for hidden secrets. Those might have one or several achievements as well.

Hi,
First, welcome to the game.

It is possible to be underleveled when you have 100% zone completion and feel youve done a lot, or most of the dynamic events.

Some things you can do:
-Head to divinities reach, and craft a little bit. Since you might be low on materials and money, this may or may not be an option, but crafting in GW2 is a huge boost to XP, unlike other MMOs.
-Redo some dynamic events. They are not necessarily meant to be done just once and forgotten about. There are some fun ones. When I ran through that zone on a few characters, I did the event where you have to protect the water pipes from bandits several times. Also, during peak hours there are lots of level 80s running around Vale waypoint and Phinney waypoint doing the Troll and Oakheart champion dynamic events. Check those out, or ask in map chat if those events, or any events, are going on. People farm those two, for whatever reason, usually to get their dallies done.
-Head to divinities reach, use the Asuran portals and go to a different starter zone for a little bit. Get a few more levels, check out a new area. You will be downleveled to the level of the zone, so you wont steamroll over everything. I did this myself.

Have fun.
