I’m looking to make exotic magic find armor and trinkets for my characters. On paper, transmuting the soulbound exotic armor to some generic armor should make it account bound. But it doesn’t look like this will be possible for trinkets, unless I’m missing something. Is the best I’m going to be able to do three sets of magic find armor (one of each light, medium, and heavy armor) and a set of magic find trinkets for each character (an expensive solution I’d rather avoid if possible)? Thanks.

Using transmutation to move equipment around only works for the skin, not the stats. It has to be put onto a white item, which can’t have good stats, and then transmuted onto another exotic item.
