is there a good addon that can show me if im putting out more condition damage or more power type damage? im an engineer and use a pistol and drink a lot of elixers. boons

Not really, but in game one of your chat tabs is called “Combat” there you can customize the damage log you want to see, like damage dealt, damage taken, and everything is separated by it source, like it is showed in the image:
