does anyone know if there is another role-play server..been trying to get into TC but it’s always full…is there also a way to que for servers?

Piken Square (EU) is the other unofficial RP server. Its population is nowhere near as packed as Tarnished Coast, so you shouldn’t have trouble getting in.

There’s no way to queue for server transfer, unfortunately. The best advice I can give (which I realize isn’t going to be very helpful) is to try during way off-peak hours such as the middle of the night on weekdays, or immediately after updates are posted.

Since Tarnished Coast is the roleplaying server by a completely unofficial player consensus and not through any official designation, no, there isn’t really another one in the sense that you’re referring to. That said, I believe that there’s another unofficial RP server among the Euro server group. You might want to look into that, given how difficult it is to transfer to high-population servers.

Just keep checking TC during all hours of the day. Check every time you get the chance. Even if you don’t have time to play the game, check it before you head out the door or as soon as you return. Check it when you have some downtime between quests, etc.

Since I’m not a RP’er my self I can’t give you any facts on this. But I’m quite sure that there is at least one GW2RP forum somewhere on the internet(I’ve heard it mentioned in a few threads). And there you will probably be able to at least find RP guilds on other servers that you can hang out with untill you get into TC(or stay with the guild if you so prefer).

Best times to get onto TC are as follows;

7am EST (weekdays only)
between 6 and 7 pm EST (weekdays only — odd, but I’ve seen it open at that time a number of days)
10:30 pm EST on a Saturday (equally odd, but again have seen it number of times)
3am EST (weekdays only)
