anyone have a money making guide?
AFAIK, questing and events are the sure way of making money.
its alot easier at higher levels but you should be making about 1g every 10lvls
xD hopefully i hope so i dnt wanna be lvl 40 and still using lvl 20 gears x.x lol
The most reliable way I know of to earn money is to buy one of each gathering tool and while you’re playing normally, harvest EVERYTHING you see. At low levels, Copper tools are incredibly cheap (costing 0.24 copper per use), but the mats you gain from harvesting can net you many times that. For example, last I checked Copper Ore was still selling for around 15c each. That means for each use of a Copper Mining Pick, you are earning almost 14 copper. Sell it all on the Trading Post once you get to a stack, and that nets you a 37 silver, 50 copper profit (minus taxes). Not bad for something that only cost you 24 copper in the first place!
This has nothing to do with making money, but since you were worried about your gear being outdated, remember to keep up with the personal story. It gives decent stuff for the level it was meant for.
Sell everything. Harvest everything. Complete events. Complete Hearts. Dont use Waypoints.
I got my first gold at level 30. At level 10 I have a couple of silver.
You do not make lots of money in this game till you get to high levels.
I never used waypoints and only used gear I found or that was donated by guildies on my way to 80. I also vendored/TPd many things.
At 80 I had about 15g. Eventually after getting 100% map completion I was hovering around 25g.
A lot of people speak about playing the TP flipping items etc. It isnt as complex or daunting as it sounds, do some research about buy-sell prices (I think GW2 DB has a short graph to show price changes) and start investing. You will be able to make quite a bit of gold with minimal effort alowing you to get exotic sets and splurging in WvW
alright cool ty guys and yea i was prone to using waypoints lmao x.x lazy me
