I’m just wondering if ascended armor chests still can be dropped after hot, and where can you can drop them, since the wiki says you can drop in fractals but they’re not mentioned in the fractal’s rewards page.

They still drop or at least from PvP loot boxes.

Got one a couple days ago during an boss event in core Tyria. Sadly it was heavy armor and I don’t have any heavy armor characters yet …

I got all of mine from PvP, if you are doing dungeon reward tracks, on average, I got an ascended weapons/armor/ring drop twice per set completion. I did 3 sets to make and I am working on my 4th, I got 4 rings, 4 weapons, and 4 armors so far. I have done a glorious(6 times for heavy) and Balthazar track. So as you can see, takes a bit of work, but it’s not too bad a drop rate if you are doing something anyway.

Ascended boxes can drop whereever ascended mats (bloodstone dust, dragonite ore, empyreal fragments) can drop, but with a much smaller chance.
