Guild Wars 2

looking for a strong Australian populated server on guild wars 2 im currently on sorrows furnace ive only just started im only a lvl 7 im happy to delete and start all over again and join a server and a guild clan what ever it is on guild wars 2 im converting from wow and im really hoping to find a good guild and some lovely people to chat to and play with and learn about the game maybe a good server for wvw to play on because i hope to aspire to a great thief for pvp pve looks amazing too so count me in for both also sea of sorrows is full i have no way of being able to join the community i really wish i could due to them apparently big on Aussie connection

Pretty much the only servers with large, active Oceanic communities in WvW are Blackgate, Jade Quarry and Tarnished Coast (not Sea of Sorrows so much any more). Other servers do have Oceanic guilds and players, but on a much smaller scale. The 3 servers I mentioned are usually full, however, so you will have some difficulty getting on to them, though there are ways of trying, if you’re patient.

If WvW isn’t as important to you, the entire rest of the game (all of PvE, and sPvP) is cross-server – you can join any guild and chat and play with them, no matter what home server you are on. The only thing you are restricted to your home server is WvW.

what do you reckon would be the best option for me to roll on with the largest community of oceanic players out of the 3 ?

wvw is very exciting also really want to be a big part of it as ive watched plenty of videos and it really gets me excited to be able to 1v2 in this game quite effectively

I’d say that Jade Quarry probably has the biggest population of Australia and Oceanic/SEA players.

When a server says full it means there are ques for guested people. However, if it is your home server you can still join instantly. I’m in Sea of Sorrows and I don’t mind helping you to join our biggest and kindest WvW & PvE guilds. If you haven’t already joined one, join sea of sorrows and message me, as we are one of the biggest aussie pop servers (and still a strong NA).

However the other 3 servers mentioned are also high aussie pop servers. So if you aren’t coming here, go there

They are your best 3 picks in order for sure. But it will be hard to get onto BG or JQ so you might need to settle for SOS. SOS was one of the original “official Oceanic servers”. They did lose some numbers over a year back when there was a fair shift in the balance of powers where they were the top WvW server and collapsed and JQ took top spot. But they are still very strong and from what I have seen have some decent guilds for both WvW and PvE.
