the title description implies that this title comes with “map completion” (i.e. that start next your name); I got map completion ages ago, but the been there done that title is at 99/100

anywho my question is in what sense does it mean map completion if not in the regularly used way?

It is map completion. It just means you’ve missed a spot or two.

Go to the Chantry of Secrets in Bloodtide Coast. That’s the most common missed place. Even if you think you’ve been there, go again.

Edit to add: Also hover over each of core game maps except for Southsun Cove. Make sure each of them is at 100% as well just in case you’ve missed something on one of the maps.

Other possibilities are POIs & hearts that were added since you completed the maps.
A few I can think of off the top of my head are:
– The Dead End POI in SE Divinity’s Reach
– new heart in Caledon Forest, just outside The Grove
– two new hearts in Plains of Ashford, just outside The Black Citadel

They also added new Waypoints on the guild mission spots, if you have 100% map from ages ago, you missed those too.
