character race change?

Not that I’ve personally heard of. To be honest, I kind of doubt that this will ever happen, just because of the massive effect it would have on the Personal Story.

I’m also curious about this as well. As to the changes in the personal storyline it wouln’t make as much difference once you’re past 30 I don’t think. It would just be before that and it can be fixed by just asking you some specific questions like in the beginning.
The reason I would like to see the race change option in the gem shop would be because I made a Sylvari Elementalist, she’s lvl 44 at the moment. The problem is that I fell in love with the Charr and would like her to be one, without having to delete her and start from scratch.
Id be willing to bet that whatever level you currently are, you could reroll and surpass that level long before a race change in implemented
