Guild Wars 2

so I was playing my 2nd character and got to the point in the storyline where you choose an order. Whispers, Priory or Vigil.

My first character, I chose the Priory, and later in the storyline, I chose to learn more about the skritt instead of orge and grawl. I was also wondering about the ogre though, so on my 2nd character I wanted to choose priory again and take that path when it came to it.

Unfortunately, I am unable to choose the Priory on my 2nd character. Am I forced to join one of the other 2?

Are the other orders different to where I won’t get the experience with the orge that I was expecting with the Priory?

Also, what happens if I make a 4th character? There are 3 orders, and if the orders are blocked when they have been chosen already by other characters, what happens when there are no more to choose? (3 orders – 4 characters = not enough orders)

How come you can’t choose priory? I started as a ranger, took OoW then realised ranger was just not for me. Then I rerolled a guardian. As much as I want to take the other 2 orders for the achievement, I still chose OoW because I wanted to know more about the story. Both my ranger and guardian are in OoW.

Are you sure you are the quest to join an order? I believe the quest level is 30.

The way the dialogue went, it seemed like i was choosing one of them, but apparently it was just a small quest and they required to choose the other 2, instead of any of the 3…

You initially choose between pairs to just see how they work. There is an eventual quest for each character that implicitly states “you are picking this order permanently.”
