Q:

if i consume a consumable, for instance the +50% glory buff, and then log out, when i log back in will i still have an hour left on the buff?

All my cooking ones have stayed on when I logged back in. So I would think most others will as well.

The evidence, so far at least and laws of Nature aside, does not require a Designer.
