I was a kittening kitten and bought the wrong class of armor… heavy instead of medium. I’m kicking myself so hard for not paying more attention.
Is there any way I could get a switch?
or am I just gonna have to salvage it?

I made that same mistake once upon a time. At that time I did not even know it could be salvaged, so I destroyed it. Nor did it occur to me to see if any of my other characters could use it. You have my sympathy.

It’s soulbound once you get it, so you would have been out of luck anyway. ty guys

You could transmute the skin to a White Item to make it account bound and then move it to another character

Contact customer support. I did the same thing with wvw armor, but ultimately deleted it. Later, I read here about someone who contacted Anet and got their badges back. They might give you your tokens back- its worth a try anyway

This happened to me 2 weeks ago and I contacted support and basically got an “oh well we can’t help”. So you just have to regrind to get those tokens. The armor isn’t soul bound on acquire so just salvage or throw it in your bank.
