dynamic tempd spinal blades infused?
You can make it and infuse it later but if you put infusions into it then you’ll need an extractor to remove them or you’ll have to sacrifice those infusions.
So i can make and wear the normal ascended and infuse it later? How does it work? Once you’ve worn ot can you still chick ot in mystic forge?
thanks so far
*chuck it in mystic forge
Equipping it does not affect your ability to mystic forge it.
Transmuting it does.
When you mystic forge it, it comes out as a new item, removing infusions completely from it.
Cool Ty for your help
Can you transmute it ‘back’ so the look and item name match again and then mystic forge upgrade it?
//edit: I’m talking about transmuted Spinal Blades.

Changing the look doesn’t affect your ability to mystic forge it either.

So what’s with all the transmute talk that I keep reading in this context? Misinformation?

It has to do with how transmuting worked before the wardrobe. Some people might put the spinal blade skin on a different item and with the old system that would no longer be usable for forging/upgrading unless you used a splitter.
The items’ flavor text also says it can’t be upgraded if it is transmuted but I think that was just there because of how the previous transmutation system worked. I tested upgrading a transmuted spinal blade back when they were first released and it worked fine.
Ah, didn’t think of that (it’s kinda obvious that it wouldn’t work)
Thanks
