so i have found it very hard to hook up with anyone online i find myself playing alone most of the time and thought it would be great if there was a few people i could find that would like to have a casual crafting or explore sometimes if you get my thinking

Why not check the Operation Union thread?
It’s there to help folks find some game buddies, in my experience there’s a lot of great people that would always have another buddy for map exploration.

Try that and see what happens.

Hope you’re enjoying the game, it’s just some companions can make it a lot better.
