Guild Wars 2

If I am looking a specific weapon skin or crafting ingredient I would like to know which zone and mobs I should focus on to try and get that item.

I found several GW2 item databases out there but they don’t seem to tell you which mob drops whatever item you just searched for. Does such info exist?

try the wiki. it usually lists what drops a certain item:

bear in mind though that items like weapon skins are not always dropped by specific enemies and is instead usually a random chance from mobs in a specific area.

you can access the wiki while in game by typing /wiki then the item name into chat too.
