Guild Wars 2

Hi all!

I have a question about the first dungeon, Acelon Catacombs i think is called. Anyway im lvl 32 right now, and yesterday I got a letter about it and was shown its location. But I wonder if my personal story will take me there or if I need to get there “out of story” so to speak.

I was almsot level 60 when I did that dungeon first. No it is not needed for your personal story and it don’t show up there.

No, from my experience you go out of story. I am level 50 on my main and don’t recall the story taking me there.

But as the other poster correctly said, scaling means you can go whenever and tbh AC is tough so going at a slightly higher level than 30 with appropriate gear will help

anyway, the story of the dungeons sorta tie into your story and to destinys edge, as they are called, the group of Eir, Zojja, Rytlock, Logan and Caithe.
But the personal story will never lead you to the place, you will have to go there on your own. Or don’t if you don’t want to

It takes you out of your story but if you want to follow the story of Divinity’s Edge (Caithe, Logan, Eir, Zojja, Rytlock) then do those letters

I did it at 80, it amplifies the story if you will. I suggest you bring a full group of 5 to do it though

As ANet puts it, personal story is your story and the dungeons are the story of Destiny’s Edge so they are mostly separate. There is a story step that requires you to complete a certain dungeon but I don’t want to spoil anything so I can’t give any more details than that.
