i spent 3 days trying to get the bomb there with out getting hit once.. and then.. getting it there under 3 mins to blow the chest

finally did it first try today

and there was nothing in the chest…

surprisingly im not mad about it.

just wondering if this is bugged or a sick joke

anyone finish this? if so please tell me if there was a treasure or if it was bugged.. i hate not knowing lol

oh man – i seriously loved the concept, but those birds are beyond bugged. i barely made it through on my guardian (his blocking skill was a godsend), but it still took an incredible amount of time. and for me, yes, the chest was bugged. i have heard from others that it is not. regardless, it isn’t worth it – you don’t need to have the bomb to get the achievement, and i regret spending so much time with that impossibly frustrating puzzle.

the puzzles were one of the biggest surprises for me in this game – i really, really like them. when you stumble across an area and realize it’s a potential labyrinth and find yourself standing back, analyzing possible routes etc…it’s a really fun break from the usual, and just kind of perfectly sums up arenanet’s focus on exploration and an incredibly rich, detailed environment.

this puzzle (even though, again, it’s a fantastic concept in a beautiful area) loses the sense of wonder and adventure about the 20th time you die unexpectedly from a bird who wasn’t even near you.

nope i got there with the bomb… blew it.. then nothing.. couldnt click or anything…

Same thing happened to me, although I did cheese it a little. After 5 hours of tries, I had a mesmer buddy port me with the bomb from the broken bridge to the end. Blew open the chest and couldn’t interact with it.

There are a number of jumping puzzles chests that are bugged. I hope you guys did a bug report because the more people that report it the more they will realise it’s not a player-mistake or isolated issue and get it fixed.
