an easier way is: if you’re in a guild with guild hall, enter ghall using the guild button and exit via the hall’s portal; gilded hollow takes you to auric basin and lost precipice to verdant brink

Just be aware that you will not unlock the mastery tracks (both core and HoT) if you don’t do the first chapter of the HoT story with one character. That makes getting around the HoT maps very difficult.
