Guild Wars 2

tried this dungeon path twice now and both times as we start the first fight to defeat the golem and waves of unlimted mobs spawn every 15 sec. we fall back but they just keep coming until theres 20+. when the party is wiped they keep spawning and running up the path, then disapearing.

what am i missing here for this fight? both group ragequit after 15min+ trying this and 20s+ repair bills.

is this WAI?

As far as I know, Sorrow’s Embrace Path 1 is bugged and infinitely spawns the mobs. I suggest you just stick with paths 2 and 3 for now.

You hide until the patrol passes by. Then you go for the golem and you have to nuke it down in one go. You gotta do it quickly because patrols will stack up on you, so bring some heavy dps. After the golem is down you gotta destory the barrier gates. When theres more than 2 patrols on you just go back to the hiding spot, kill them there (with some AoE it goes really fast) and repeat this until all gates are down. Once the gates are down there will be no more spawns. The rest of the path is pretty straight forward

do note as of now, unless if they’re recently ninja patched it, after defeating the Golem boss and destroying the barrier gates, you’ll hit the second boss. for this part, you’ll want to fight and pull him into the cave entrance behind him. because i believe the mobs DO keep spawning. but if you fight back there, they mobs spawn in front of you and you won’t aggro them. if you fight on the main platform the 2nd boss starts on, you may still aggro the infinite mobs.
