How do I embed a video directly into the post in this forum here? I’ve seen people linking their youtube video in that way.

pretty sure you just copy and paste the long link into the post (the one in the browser address bar, not the share box), and the forum picks it up automatically, but I could be wrong

I don’t recall ever seeing a directly embedded video on these forums, as in one that plays without your leaving the forum thread. On ESO all the time, sure.

If you have seen one embedded here, I suggest you do a Quote This User reply, the little left facing curved arrow at the bottom right of the post (don’t actually post anything). That may show the before/after codes used to flag the video and you can copy that format to try to embed your own.

If all you mean is a hyper link as in your reply above, looks like you figured it out
