hi so new person random help questions
so i have just started playing couple days ago, around level 15 with my necromancer. my question is mainly around what i should be putting my talent points into? cause i not understanding which would be good to start cause i have leveling and been running around collecting them and have not spent any and no idea which to get first.
2nd what crafting should focus on first, cause so far been artificer.
also any links to something like a summoner/defensive build if there are one be nice if possible and ty.
Hey there! Well so far your doing pretty good. Im no necro expert but if you want to just cham through enemies start with the first trait line. It gives you extra power! as for crafting you should do tailoring as you can craft light armor for your guy/girl and level up. You can refund traits anytime you want so you dont have to think really hard about it. when you get to lvl 80, try Metabuilds site. They give best builds in game.

At level 15 I think it’s skill points not trait points at issue.
Eventually you get plenty of skill points and can buy all the skills. My favorite starting two for necro are the signet that on use throws ALL the conditions on the target (that later works nicely with skills that spread the target’s conditions to its friends) and the signet that gives me a 25% running speed boost. Mouse over the utility skill descriptions for exact names. I’d suggest you avoid the racial skills to start (they’ll tend to be on their own second line in the skill tier) as they are by design weaker than globally available skills.
Once you get to traits — right now that’s somewhere in your 30’s, though they are revamping it at some unspecified future point — spend however you like, you can freely swap them around when out of combat.
Tailoring seems a fine choice. My first necro is my tailor and she’s at 500, wearing ascended chest and pants sheerly for the looks (her bags are too full of clothing for RP to let her actually go fight anywhere loot might drop).
