It depends. Are you planning to do any crafting with them or just harvest to sell?
If crafting, it depends on which one. If harvest daily to sell, you can currently make a gold or two a week selling them. Right now Candy corn is 1.04 silver each, sprockets are 2.31 silver each and Quartz is 32 copper. The krait skill point is next to useless if you aren’t planning to craft with quartz.
I have the candy corn, watchwork sprocket and quartz nodes. In my mind I got them free because they came from achievements I would have done either way, so I’ve never really thought about the cost/benefit of having them, but they are nice.
I normally harvest all 3, then sell the quartz and sprockets and use the money to buy more candy corn because I’m saving up for the mini Bloody Prince. But at the moment the price of quartz has crashed because of the festival and I’m saving up sprockets to finish the Spinal Blades, so I’m just harvesting and depositing them.
But you can get a good bit of money from them if you harvest all 3 every day (or even most days). They’re also things that aren’t that easy to get in other places for most of the year, so if you think you might ever need them they’re worth it for that.
“Life’s a journey, not a destination.”
They do a good hunk of the gathering daily. With those as well as the 3 metal nodes, I can gather 90% of the daily in moments.
cool thanks for all your replies. ended up getting them all, i didnt really care about minis and stuff much anyway. now just gotta kill that kitten ed dark gauntlet champion girl
Also to save me making another topic. Does anyone have any suggestions for laurels?
I haven’t spent any since i started playing i just get trinkets?
First ascended amulet(s) (use laurels + wvw badges if you wvw), then whatever really
Get all your trinkets, for your main and any alts you play. If you have a guild that does missions be sure to do them as earrings cost 40 laurels and 50 ectos, or they cost 12 commendations which are 2 weeks of guild missions. Are you planning to do ascended crafting? If you are then this cost laurels also. In addition, ascended gear has slots for infusions, which also cost laurels. After that, unless they put in a new laurel sink that’s it except for frivolous buying.
