i can only get a plus 5 on a ring is there another thing i can put in infusion slot to get more then 5 for a ring

takes a lot of time & money but that is how much you can get atm, unless we can somehow infuse neck & accessories.

ok you got rings +20 that guide above says it only comes with 5? is the plus 20 only found in a drop or can i craft an infusiopn that ahase plus 20 to put on a ring

you can upgrade rings to have an inherent +5 AR on them BEFORE the infusion slot for a total of 10 per ring, same with back items.

how do I upgrade the rings I know how to add a simple infusion thingy my rings are acended found in fractals one is ring of death and I forget the others

rings are upgraded by putting them into the mystic forge with 1 Shard of Crystallized Mists Essence, 3 Glob of Coagulated Mists Essence, and 5 Vial of Condensed Mists Essence

They will then be <Ring name> (infused) and have 5 AR on them before you slot a infusion on, note that any infusions slotted before upgrading the ring will be lost

ok kool and how about amulets? and do you do somthin to get a good backslot?

amulets and accessories currently can’t be upgraded I believe.

Back items you have 2 choices, farm fractal tokens to purchase a fractal capacitor and then upgrade it to ascended (and can then further upgrade it to have innate +5 AR and then once more for a fairly nice skin) or if you can craft a quiver (offensive) or book (defensive) with a vial of condensed mists essence, 250 t6 mats (which determines the stats), 50 ectoplasms and 240 philosopher stones (24 skill points)

hmm I wonder how much that back item gonna cost, seems like fractal tokens be cheapest idk have to look

if you buy the t6 component and the ecto it can be anything between 10g to 30g+

if you farm em its free

where can I farm condensed mist and coagulated and them crystals?

Those all come from fractals.

the mists things come from fractals (vial from level 1-9, glob 10-19, shard 20+) the crystals/philosopher stones are bought from Miyung who stands next to the mystic forge

This needs to be fixed. It’s not a good thing when a player loses an infusion from a ring especially if it’s a crafted infusion. Those thing are bloody expensive to make. This seems like an oversight and should be fixed. The mystic forge recipe should check for an infusion and maintain the infusion on becoming infused.

I’m sure this has aggravated many guild wars 2 players already and it is something that needs to be addressed asap.

agreed. but the good part about infusing an item in the forge is that it turns soulbound into account bound.
I recommend putting basic infusion (costs 75 fractal relics) into rings/back if they are not infused, then put an expensive one in there after you infuse it.
god they need a new name for infused version of the item. or a new name for the infusions you put into the item.
