how do you do a shield stance with a shield
There isn’t really a “shield stance”. The shield is just like any other offhand weapon – it adds two more weapon skills to your skill bar, in the 4th and 5th slots. Some shield bearing classes may have a sort of shield stance skill – such as the warrior’s number 5 skill – but there isn’t a stance persay.
so maybe that one move where you block for idk 5seconds
You put a shield on a warrior and press 5

Yeah, but…once you hit that 5 key…your cool down 28-40 seconds depending on how you trait. So, its not like other games that allow you to continually huddle behind your shield.

You shouldn’t need to block constantly, for starters that would be drastically overpowered. You just need to time the block with when they attack, and while its on cooldown use dodging or other skills to mitigate damage.

The guardian shield skill 4 is a bash for some damage and then blocks the next 3 incoming attacks. The skill 5 is an AoE shield dome that pushes back mobs and protects any allies/npc’s inside for a few secs.
This is as good as it gets …
