Short question how many guild commendations can I earn per week?

2 from bounties and 1 from rushes for a total of 3. I don’t think any guild has gotten challenges or puzzles yet, and so we don’t know what those offer.

I’ve seen challenges, treks and puzzles unlocked already.. dunno how much from them though.

Unless there is a bug somewhere nobody has enough merits to unlock challenges or puzzle yet because of the weekly cap on merits.

I’m telling you I’ve seen the puzzle unlocked and activated. I sat outside the puzzle entrance waiting for people to show up lol.

There are markers out in the world showing where a puzzle will start, and if you click on it you’ll get a message saying a guild needs to activate it.

But it’s there 24/7, whether a guild has created one or not. I once (by coincidence) logged out near one, logged back in the next day and it was still there, ended up not doing anything on that character so I was still there the day after and it was still there then.

It was the same with the bounty NPCs, they were put into the game with the update even though no one could do guild bounties for a few days.
