now that theres no champ trains, how do i level up fast?

not a new player so i rather not go “explore, play the game as it is meant to etc”

wvw karma train is a hit or miss, i don’t have the birthday insta level 20 scrolls and i don’t do pvp for tombs.

I did WvW and hearts until lvl 30 at lvl 30 i did WvW and dungeons and i was 80 in no time

lucky that you can find parties to do dungeons

is wvw the only way?

if only i can use my skill points or badges to buy tombs or something

There are still champ trains, they’re just much smaller. Edge of the mists is pretty easy, but can get boring. Crafting gives amazing experience, cooking and artificing are very cheap and will give you a good 14 levels.
Also finding dungeon parties is easy, just go to your contacts list, and on the left side of the panel there is a tab that shows open dungeon parties.
Keep in mind if you use dungeons people may rage at you for not being 80.

You could always do the dungeon on your 80 then swap to the alt at the end. Just let the group know ahead of time and make sure your not host.

If money isn’t an issue, then start with crafting. Then pop all the karma/xp/wxp boosters you can (gem store boosters, banners, foods, etc) and hit the Edge of the Mists train. I know you mentioned that it was hit or miss, but I’ve really found it to be the best way. If it’s on “miss”, log out and try back another time.

A few months ago, the resounding answer would have been to do the Lion’s Arch events during the “evacuation” phase of the story. I leveled two characters to 80 in a pretty short amount of time.

Whatever you decide, the xp buffs are key.

Biggest problem with leveling up quickly now is that traits aren’t automatically unlocked. Got to buy or go out and earn those.
