So I picked the order of whispers in my personal story mode. My question is I was looking for cool armor sets and came accross the Virgil armor and was wondering if i could buy that if im with the order of whispers. Thank you

then what would Virgil wear?

is there anyway to join them after i picked the order?

is the armor soul bound?

unforunately its soul bound when you acquire it.

sucks, I didn’t know there would be order specific armors before I joined.

the wiki said you could change orders “with a little effort” but I’m not sure what that means, and the wiki page doesn’t explain further than that.

I wonder if a friend can sell you his old soul bound armor he doesn’t need anymore, and maybe it can be transmuted?

I think if you make an alt and have it join the vigil you can put the gear in your bank and access it on your main.

I am not 100% because I have not done it with the vigil but it worked with other soulbound gear, so it should with the vigil stuff.

Does anyone have a link with what the armors look like?

I dont think you can send/trade armor that is soulbound. Then again, what do i know?

I joined the Whispers Order and got a Staff so far.

Once you join an order, thats it. You will have to remake your character. To see what armors look like, visit Heat of the Mist and go to the PvP locker. They are called priory armor, or vigil armor, or whispers.

The three orders are around in Destiny’s Edge .. in the park area, inside that massive building .. might be worth wandering in and seeing if an NPC offers choices?

The simplest solution would be.

1. Ask a friend who picked Vigil.
2. Tell him to buy Vigil Gear & an White NPC Gear
3. Tell him to get Transmutation items.
4. Transmute Vigil Gear to NPC Gear.
5. NPC Gear now looks Vigil Gear.

BUT…
If you want to have the stats of Vigil Gears, that is a no no.
That is why you have the choices to pick WHICH of the 3 associations to join during the Personal Story.

The 3 Associations has secret bases in which you can BUY those gears.
Vigil, if I am correct is located in Harathi (?).

Yeah they don’t sell it to you unless you’re part of the order.

But has anyone wandered into their “main offices” in Destiny? See if you can do quests for faction etc?
