i reported someone
I wouldn’t worry about it. Either she didn’t say anything actionable and nothing will happen to her or she did and she’ll get the appropriate punishment, and maybe learn not to abuse others.
And if she saw you weren’t doing your job right all during the event, why didn’t she whisper helpful instructions? If someone is doing a job so badly as to fail the meta event and isn’t given help to correct it, then the people that let it go without giving instructions are just as much to blame. (Not that I think you actually caused the meta to fail. Just pointing out that she would be equally at fault in a situation like that).

I agree with Chad. Don’t feel bad. I report abusive language when I come across it, even if it is not directed towards me. Meta events are a group effort, and something like that is working against the team.
You did the right think reporting that person for verbal abuse (and I’d recommend also /blocking them). I’m sorry that it happened.

Some people have done the meta events hundreds of times and they can’t imagine that there are people who are new to the meta or to trying a particular role.
I agree with the previous posters: the time to make sure everyone knows what to do is before combat, not during or after. Those who want to make sure that the armors are doing particular things should patiently explain what needs to happen or accept that somethings things won’t go as planned.
Ok well did you have a tag on yourself? If you dont know what your doing then yea you probably shouldnt tag yourself and she may have been right about wasting everyones time, otherwise no she needs to just let it go. On the other hand lots of people are toxic did she actually insult you nonstop? Because I personally think its a little silly to report over a few insults. Do not let a random stranger online control how you feel, its pointless, however if she just kept on and on then yea I guess reporting might help.
Don’t feel bad, though you’re wasting your time. Easier to just ignore that individual as they likely won’t get in trouble for what they did. This is the internet, better to defend yourself than to attempt to clean it up.
