You should have listed all information in one place (=in this thread) and not expect us first jump to another forum where then make a link to another site where they sell costume made computers.

Specs:
- Intel Core i7 4790K CPU
- 8GB DDR3 1600MHz Memory
- NVIDIA GTX 980 4GB
- 250GB Samsung 850 EVO SSD
- 1TB 7200RPM Storage HDD
- Z97 Chipset Motherboard
- 600W SilverStone PSU
- Microsoft Windows 8.1

Let us make it simple:

GW2 will not take any major advantage of an Intel i7 hyper threading (which make 4 cores work in 8 threads) in the way its game engine have been designed for running most parts on two threads. You can find more about that in this tread .

The only reason to get an i7 (as it cost more then i5) would be if you plan to record your game play and want to be able to edit it a bit faster (but that could to some part be compensated by over clocking an i5).

Both GTX 970 and GTX 980 have built in encoding chip (NVENC, so it will off load both GPU and CPU while you are recording your game play.

It looks like Digital Storm use 4 DIMM with 2 GB DDR RAM (no name branded as their own or even a brand that they have re-named) as a standard configuration which could create problems with instability.

If you would buy any of those offer today, I would advice you to get 16 GB DDR3 RAM for dual channel configuration (2 DIMM with each 8 GB DDR RAM). Dual Channel means that your processor can address RAM in 128 bit instead of 64 bit. Four memory modules isn’t optimal if you would want to over clock your processor.

Another reason to get 16 GB RAM today instead of only 8 GB is that DDR3 are going to be replaced by DDR4 and that might make the price on 16 GB (and 8 GB) DDR3 modules to rise. For GW2 you don’t need more then 8 GB RAM and most games run fine with only 8 GB, so it is more to avoid problems with future prices going up, when DDR4 going full mainstream.

Go with RAM from Corsair (only brand outside of sellers own that you can pick) if you can afford it or at least a well known brand for RAM!

I would suggest that you build your own computer instead of a pre-made as often you will be tricked with “cheap” solutions that might work, but still give trouble in the long run.

Id up the PSU to a 850W to allow for SLI i na year or 2 .. But this rig can run everything.
