Hello, i made a sylvari thief and i did the storyline there, it was ok but i like the humans more. So i made a new sylvari and i wanted to know if i can lvl in the human are instead of caledon forest. and if so will there be a diffrent storyline there that i can do!

Yes, you can level in the human area. There should be an Asura gate in the Grove (the Sylvari city), marked on the map with a purple swirl. Passing through that will bring you to Lion’s Arch, the hub city. From there, head through the gate guarded by the Seraph to arrive at the human city.

You will still be playing the Sylvari storyline, however. Note that the specific quests may change if you picked different biographical options during character creation- in the end, though, you will still be playing the Sylvari story.

You may visit any location in the world that your little heart desires, so long as the mobs are roughly at or below your level. Nothing stands in your way of doing the renown hearts, dynamic events, skill points, and etc. in the human lands. Outside of the personal story, you never need to set foot inside Caledon forest once you leave. If that sort of thing is what you want.

The personal story, however, is fixed. You cannot, as a Sylvari, help Logan uncover Caudecus’ treason any more than a Human can help Caithe infiltrate the nightmare court. But at level 30 your personal story with divorce from your race and follow the Prior, Order, or Vigil instead. So it’s only a short time to spend just around sylvari.

You can get to Lion’s Arch from anywhere, not just that gate in the Grove! Simply click the PvP icon at your upper left (crossed swords) then click Go to the Mists. When you port to the Mists you will be in the sPvP lobby and ahead to your left will be a gate to Lion’s Arch. You’ll come out by the PvP gates in LA and need to run across the bridge to the city gates to continue to Divinity’s Reach (which is the right hand gate as you cross onto the gate island).

But what i want to know is if i leave caledon forest to go to DR, can i get a storyline there? Or do i still have to do the sotryline in caledon forest?

As long as you play a Sylvari, the first part of the storyline will remain in Caledon Forest.

It should be clarified that by “first part”, he means, “the personal story line until it stops having a direct involvement with race, at level 30.”

At no point in time can you play the Human’s race-specific story line, which takes place predominantly in the human areas, unless you play a human character.
