Ok so a very simple question:
Are we allowed to look for new people for our guild through the ingame lfg system?

I am asking because a person whispered me and told me that it is prohibited
(But selling dungeons and looking for a good SW map to farm isn’t?).

I don’t think it’s prohibited… Though just my opinion :P

recruiting for your guild group seems fine by me

Not sure about the rules but I would assume anyone doing that is an kitten and then wonder why anyone would want to join a guild with that kind of recruitment. The LFG window can be cluttered enough as it is.

Yea its kind of weird because so many people do it i didn’t even consider it to be “wrong”.

Sure it is cluttered and i would prefer a specific place for guilds to be honest. However we got a lot of people through the lfg.

Yeah, it is not prohibited, but it is annoying and I would never join a guild that does it.

I would never join a guild that does Map Chat Recruitment.
However I have no problems with LFG Guild Recruitment.
(Depending on the LFG area ofc)

Oh yeah, that is also annoying, the reason why I always block map chat, I only unblock in WvW.

Most of them I see in the Open World Events section, along with the precursor selling, the rest are either in the WvW or PvP tabs.
