I cannot for the life of me find my 3 basic logging nodes in Dreamer’s Terrance. I see their icon right next to the Wintersday’s Giving Tree, but when I travel around on the different levels of the home I can’t seem to find the wood. I suppose it would be wrong for a plant being to cut down another plant life, but all joking aside, I’m stumped on where the nodes are, so if anyone knows, please comment below.

(sorry for no screen shot, I’ll grab one later if anyone would like a visual.)

The trees are outside the building at ground level. Look to your right as soon as you enter the instance.

I don’t think the joking stopped when you meant it to! /laughs

Yeah, of all the home instances the one in the Grove is the most annoying for getting at the nodes (I’ll put Hoelbrak second most annoying due to the long distances you have to run between them, especially when the bandit chest decides to be up in the rafters). It took me forever to get at those trees, too.

And even when you know to go to them outside the entrance door, you have to hug the wall or get “leaving the instance” messages.

For anyone reading this who already didn’t know, you can harvest nodes at ANY racial city Home area – you don’t have to be that particular race, just have the nodes unlocked on your account.

If you find it tricky or time consuming in some cities, try the Salma District of Divinity’s Reach – everything is close together and on one level. Turn left on entry for ore nodes, turn right into the orphanage for candycorn/crystal/sprocket nodes, straight ahead over bridge and turn right for plans/cloth/leather and woods.

Personal Loot chest can be found inside the first house on the left before you cross the bridge – the owner asks you ‘what are you doing in my home?’ – which is a nice little touch.

The Bandit Chest moves around, but normally in the back streets behind the orphanage. Can’t help with the Wintersday Tree, missed that last time round doing something else.

Hope this helps readers

In Salma the Wintersday Tree is in the stone building ahead to the left as you enter the main market area. Can’t really miss it thanks to the big peppermint swirl on the map. The HoT nodes show up in a line in front of the inn (except for aurillium mining, which is with the ore nodes up on the noble street). Fabric and leather are in the market near the tree nodes.

The Rata Sum home instance also has easy to reach rationally organized node placement.

I almost never go to the Grove for home instance gathering, it’s just too frustrating compared to the other four cities and I have several Maguuma locations I can go to that quickly knock out the daily plus give me ore/wood/plants I can make better use of.
