hmm, If I want to switch my homeserver from EU to US, would I have to start with new characters or will I be able to play just fine with my beloved characters?

Also, does someone know a server where a lot of guild missions are going on between 2pm and 8pm? I’d look for a server where a lot of open world PvE is going on + medium-good ranking in WvW.

If you buy gems to pay for a transfer you can keep all your characters. If you want to transfer for free the only way is to delete all your characters (make sure you strip them off all accountbound valuables first) and start fresh. Your bank and wallet transfer over intact but you will loose access to any guild upgrades you had on your original server.

excellent question. I was referring to 2 PM – 8 PM PST. Thank you!

There is an alliance guild called Commendation [GC] based on Tarnished Coast that does guild missions en masse in that time frame, if my conversions are right. They’re about letting people without guilds or in small guilds get commendations without being forced to join a rep-requiring guild.

I believe some of the other large NA servers have similar groups, though [GC] is all right with people guesting for the missions.

From my experience there is not problem with connection at all. I live in the UK and play on Tarnished Coast, but I will add that I have the advantage of a good city centre internet connection, not sure if rural users would have any problem.

Before anyone suggests TC, please be aware that it is listed as full 99.999999999% of the time. I got the game last month and spent 2 weeks trying to get on there before I gave up and went elsewhere.

what do you mean “trying to get on there”? I mean, if it’s full you’re on an overflow, I also doubt that every map is full… O_o
