so ive mapped all of tyria except wvw… being in t1 means ill literally never have access to a few of the vistas/POIs. is there any way to get them without being inside a keep/garrison because i couldnt find a way while playing yesterday, but due to it being reset night as a solo roamer i rarely got close to the places i needed

No you need to get inside to get the POI’s and vista’s located there. The ways to do this are normally to wait until your server changes color. The alternative is to transfer to another server which but this means that you will have to stay for a week.
The hard way is to get a group of people together and capture the objectives.

ya i thought so… unfortunately being on blackgate and in t1 means ill never have access to green and rarely to blue sides of the map…

I haven’t gotten to mapping WvW yet but here’s a few ideas from other threads on this topic:

1) Keep checking regularly, including at different times of day when possible because even on fairly static maps areas can and do change hands sometimes.
2) Follow the zerg when they invade enemy territory and get the POIs as you go.
3) Get together with a group of players who all need to map those areas and make your own zerg.
4) Ask your guild for help getting in (much the same as 3).
5) Ask the enemy to let you in. Sounds crazy but I’ve heard it works – if you explain you’re only there to map someone might be willing to help. Sometimes they escort you around to make sure that’s all you do, and then sometimes they ask you to return the favour while they map areas you control.

They will be unlinking the colors from the ranks. Well unless it turns out to be undoable. You can check DevonCarver’s posts for more details but this should go away in a while, maybe as soon as the upcoming patch.
