Guild Wars 2

So I just came back to guild wars after quitting at launch. had a 40 thief. I have decided to play a scholar class this time, and narrowed it down to mesmer or necro.

But since I would be considered very new to the game still I would like your guys help deciding which to main to level 80. What are the pros and cons of each class.

I will more then likely be soloing a majority of the time so you can answer in that regards too.
Pretty much which class is more enjoyable in general.

If you want just to chill in PvE without much challange i would recommend Necro, if otherwise Mesmer.
Necro is much “tankier” class and it is realy easy to play with in pve (dungeon included)
