Guild Wars 2

From the beginning of playing GW2 I have been using both mouse buttons to move. Is there a downside to this method? Also wondering how many of you are using it instead of w?

I guess the downside is that you can’t look to the side or behind you while you’re running. I’m not in game right now but I’m assuming you run wherever the camera is facing if you hold down both.

Would mainly affect you in WvW. Spotting flanking invaders or running from zergs

I think the downside is you don’t get the same degree of control.

I use the mouse to move most of the time when I’m exploring so I can hold down ctrl+alt with my other hand (although for long distances I use autorun) but then when I’m in combat or jumping I’ll usually switch to WASD or the arrow keys.

Normally the arrows because otherwise I’m either using the same hand for my skills and movement or I’ve got one hand on top of the other and that’s just awkward.
