I’m at around 87% and I haven’t seen an increase or a decrease in the amount of valuables that I receive per day. I’ve only had two exotic drops in the past 6,500 hours, one of those being 3 years ago at the very beginning of GW2, the other one 2 days ago. From my experience, MF doesn’t work.

Magic Find modifies RNG mob drops (and very specific bags)… and RNG is not something to put any amount of dependence, value, or expectation on.

So, don’t worry if your 180% is good or not.

It’s effects on exotics are very minimal to the point where you won’t be able to tell a difference. It’s more impactful with getting a blue rarity over trash, a green rarity over blue and some marginally significant yellow rarity over a green. You would see differences in data trends for sure if you were comparing magic find and trash vs blue rarity. That’s where the impact is the most.
