need some help
The purpose of the taxi is just to get you into the map where the meta is being organized. Join the taxi, go to dragon stand, if you aren’t on the same map as your group, right click one of of them and “join in dragon stand” on one of their names. They are not staying in the group because they want to let other people join into the taxi to fill the map up. If you do not possess a commanders tag a party has a limit of 5 individuals, so it is imperative you leave the taxi as soon as you get to a map. I hope that was the answer you were seeking.
Oh, and “SW” is Silver Waste. Triple Trouble has a guild that specializes in helping new people with that event. The name of the guild is TTS, and they have a site on the internet that you can read about it (and a forum). If you show up a half an hour before daily reset you can get a good teq map.
hi,Thanks a lot!! I thought maybe I was doing something wrong.lol
Here’s a good way to get in an organized DS run:
1) Enter the map maybe 10 minutes before the map cycle starts — see http://dulfy.net/2015/11/09/gw2-hot-maps-timer-famme/ for when that is.
2) In the entry area there will almost certainly be someone with a commander tag up. If not, and if you have a commander tag, make your own.
3) Join the commander’s squad by targeting him/her, right clicking on the target info in your UI, and selecting Join Squad. Or type /squadjoin Commander’s Name Here, assuming they don’t have weird accents in their name. Make note of their name and locate them in the squad UI, check for the commander symbol.
4) Wait for the dragon to Kill You All. Except reapers with auto-shroud. We rule.
5) Wait for the loading screens that dump you in the map.
6) Immediately right click on the Commander in the Squad UI. If s/he is in a different map, you will get an option to Join in Dragon’s Stand. Do so at once, before the map has a chance to fill.
You should now be in an organized map. Either stay in your squad or go to a different lane and join a squad there. Enjoy your next 1.5 hours! (Squads are not mandatory but they sure make it easier to ensure the lanes have balanced populations).
Short form: Get there a few minutes early, join a squad, taxi to that squad after the map resets.
This may change come the April patch, depending on what the devs do to change the time commitment needed for DS and when they do it.
